Telehealth is a way for health professionals to provide services remotely through online or telephone systems. Telehealth is shown to be as effective as in-person therapy for psychological treatment. To set up a telehealth session, a link will be sent via email or text before the scheduled time, clients should prepare a quiet and private space and turn off any notifications. Appointments can be made on our online booking portal, and clients can choose their preferred psychologist. The frequency of sessions will depend on the individual’s concerns and can be discussed with the therapist. Telehealth appointments are also eligible for a Medicare rebate.
